Copernicus Masters 2013
This year will take place the III edition of the Copernicus Masters, awarding prizes to innovative solutions for business and society based on Earth Observation data (http://www.copernicus-masters.com/). From 1 June to 15 September it is possible to sign up to participate to the competition. Participants in the Copernicus Masters 2013 can choose from a total of nine Challenges covering topics such as environmental monitoring, cloud computing, and mobile services, as well as the innovative use of radar and very high-resolution satellite imagery. For your project, it could be interesting to participate to the competition. The Best Service Challenge would be especially interesting for the projects as they can present themselves on the landing page of the competition website and all visitors of the website can vote for the service they find most beneficial for European citizens. The winner will receive additional promotion e.g. an article on the ESA website as well as a data quota worth 40,000 Euro made available with financial support by the European Commission. I enclosed an info pdf, all info is also available at http://best-service.copernicus-masters.com. Information about the rest of the challenges can be found at http://www.copernicus-masters.com .
